A lucky winner won the Loto Plus Jackpot worth €1,750,000 in the lottery draw held on January 19. According to the state-owned company Državna Lutrija Srbija, the lucky winner bought 10 Loto and Loto Plus combinations and one Joker ticket worth 920 RSD (around €8) in Belgrade. The third combination earned them the Loto Plus Jackpot.
Loto Plus is an extension of the Loto game and offers players an extra chance of winning. It is based on seven numbers, just like the regular game, but winning numbers are determined by the random number generator in live streaming on the national television RTS, after seven Loto numbers have been drawn.
Since the beginning of the year, a Loto Jackpot worth €300,000 was awarded and the winning ticket was purchased in Belgrade, too. One of the biggest Loto Jackpots lately was hit in December, 2017, when the lucky Loto player won as much as €4,400,000. The winning ticket was bought in Odžaci, a municipality in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
Loto and Loto Plus draws take place twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, and are streamed live on the national TV station RTS1 at 8 PM. The prize of a single Loto combination is 80 RSD, while additional games Loto Plus and Joker are available at a price of 10 RSD and 20 RSD respectively.
