The implementation will be possible thanks to the integration of payment terminals with the sales system. The works on this are to end this year.
According to unofficial information, Totalizator Sportowy intends to introduce the possibility of card payments for tickets in random games at all Lotto points in Poland. In this way, the company wants to continue the project started this year, under which payment terminals were installed in all TS’s own collections. This information has just been confirmed by the press office of the company in response to my e-mail in this matter.
The aim of Totalizator Sportowy is to introduce non-cash payments to all shops offering Lotto games in the fixed channel – wrote Damian Wiśniewski from the office of the press spokesperson of the TS.
The project will therefore include the so-called legal collections, hence individual partners of the company running shopping and service points. In total, it is over 12,000 places in the country where you can play Lotto today, paying only in cash.
As Wiśniewski writes, the implementation of non-cash payments in these branches will be possible after integrating the payment terminal with the sales system.
Currently, intensive work is underway to implement this solution. Most likely, in December 2018, the terminals in the own network’s collections will be integrated. From 2019, it is planned to gradually implement them in legal collections – a TS representative wrote.
