A few days ago, the prestigious Forbes magazine published the ranking of 50 Most Influential People in Polish Sports in 2018. The chairman of the bookmaker company STS – Mateusz Juroszek was on the 26th position, for whom it was a debut in this ranking.
The ranking was prepared by Forbes magazine and Pentagon Research company. For the third time, the PZPN chairman, Zbigniew Boniek, came in first place. Robert Lewandowski was right behind him, and Adam Małysz, former ski jumper and currently director-coordinator of the Polish Ski Association, came in third.
Mateusz Juroszek – CEO and co-owner of STS and the president of the Sport Twoją Szansą foundation made a debut in the prestigious ranking. The appearance of Juroszek in the list should not surprise anyone. STS is the largest private entity on the sponsorship market in Poland. The bookmaker supports, among others, Polish national football team, Jagiellonia Białystok, Lech Poznań, Vive Kielce or KSW, and this is only a part of the entities associated with the bookmaker.
It is worth noting that Mateusz Juroszek together with his father Zbigniew and his family found themselves on the 9th place in the Forbes list of 100 richest Poles in 2018 with assets exceeding PLN 3 billion.
