European Week of Responsible Gambling in Poland

On November 7th-13th, the gambling industry in Europe celebrates Responsible Gambling Week. The purpose of the campaign is to broaden customers’ knowledge of recognizing undesirable phenomena that may arise in connection with participation in gambling.

Fortuna is joining the group of operators who will soon encourage players to familiarize themselves with the rules of using bookmakers safely.

We want to show that the implementation of solutions supporting responsible gaming is not only an obligation imposed by the regulator, but a real task. We are aware of the dangers that may result in the loss of control over the game, which is why we want to educate our players about the ways in which they can limit the time and funds allocated to bets, so that the bookmaker is always a source of entertainment for them, supporting positive emotions related to with sporting events
– says Konrad Komarczuk, Fortuna President of the Management Board.

Each player to fully use their Fortuna account is obliged to set limits on the game: time and amount. They allow you to control the cash allocated to bets and the time spent on the bookmaker’s website. At any time, the player can choose to change their limits, and their reduction occurs immediately. Increasing the limits on the game is carried out with a delay – greater for each subsequent notification by the player of such an instruction.

In addition, all Fortuna customers have the option of suspending their activity on the site for 24, 48 or 72 hours at any time. At that time, placing bets by them is not possible and the decision to suspend the activity is final. The situation is similar in the case of self exclusion from the game, which lasts 3 or 6 months.
