GGPoker receives third online poker license in Ukraine, though it remains on “standby” mode as it awaits the Ukrainian parliament clarifies taxation rules.. It marks the operator’s continued expansion into regulated markets, with concerted licensing efforts in half a dozen European jurisdictions made in the last year.
The site will operate on the GGPoker.UA domain name and is expected to connect to the global GGPoker Network, or GGPN, with access to the global player pool.
“GGPoker is finally coming to Ukraine!,” said Sergii Romanenko, CEO GGPoker.ua, in an exclusive statement to PRO. “We have secured a license and are ready to celebrate this together with the thousands of poker players who have been waiting for our arrival for so long.”
The Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL) stated that the company NSUS YUA LLC (a company registered by GG in Ukraine) paid UAH 6 million in license fees to the budget of Ukraine.
