Latvian gambling market shows considerable growth in Q3. However, the revenues are far from reaching 2019 figures.
Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Authority published Q3 analysis of the Latvian gaming market.
Despite the lockdown, the revenue rose from €12.3 million to €55.2 million in total compared to Q2. Still this is a 33.2% year-on-year decline.
The data show that the growth was due to the land-based slots which generated a revenue of €35.0m. Online gaming accounted for in €15.5m, table games – €1.5m, bingo halls – €41,000, and betting shops – €573,000.
