Ekstraklasa SA has made an agreement with Totalizator Sportowy, under which it will still be the title sponsor of the most important football games in Poland.
The contract will be valid until the end of the 2020-21 season and during this time the struggle for the Polish championship will take place under the umbrella of Lotto Ekstraklasa.
However, this is not all, apart from extending cooperation with the mentioned Totalizator Sportowy, Ekstraklasa SA was involved in the next three seasons with PKO Bank Polski. The largest Polish bank will be the main and official partner of Ekstraklasa.
“Ekstraklasa begins a three-year cooperation with two brands belonging to the largest companies in Poland: Totalizator Sportowy and PKO Bank Polski. The largest bank in Poland will be the new main partner and the official bank of Ekstraklasa. The LOTTO brand is still the title sponsor of Ekstraklasa in the season 2018/2019” – we read in a statement.
Thanks to a well thought out package of benefits, allowing for a very large exposure of two partners’ brands within Ekstraklasa, we have acquired powerful Polish companies that have decided to join us for the next three seasons. As a result, we will implement one of the largest sponsorship projects in our country. With such a high value of benefits, our common goal will be to use all the possibilities to ensure the greatest possible benefits for both sponsors and fans – said Marcin Animucki, president of the board of Ekstraklasa SA.
Olgierd Cieślik, the president of Totalizator Sportowy, did not hide his satisfaction with the prolongation of cooperation.
Totalizator Sportowy will be with Ekstraklasa supporters for the 5th consecutive season. For the first two years we have been present with the Keno brand, and already the third season we function as a Titular Partner with the LOTTO brand. The new contract is a new opportunity that will also support the youngest football talents. These types of activities serve not only the development of Polish football, but also form part of the findings and conclusions of the May’s Round Table deliberations, organized on the initiative of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. We move from words to deeds. Continuing to support the highest level of games in Poland, we also undertake closer cooperation with football fans, who consistently remind us that when buying LOTTO products, they automatically support Polish sport, donating hundreds of millions of zlotys for this purpose each year. Thanks to them, not only football enthusiasts win, but the whole society. The next year of cooperation with Ekstraklasa has not only a business dimension but also a symbolic one, as the most important Polish league and Totalizator Sportowy is growing, which is entering new market areas – emphasized Olgierd Cieślik, President of the Totalizator Sportowy Board.
