Legia Warszawa Basketball Team and LOTTO have extended cooperation. The brand belonging to Totalizator Sportowy has been a Strategic Partner of the capital’s club for a year, continuing cooperation from the time of appearances in the back room of the premier league. In addition, for many years TS has been implementing activities aimed at the development of Polish basketball, being also the Main Partner of the Energa Basket League.
Following the example of the largest European basketball clubs, last year the Strategic Sponsor – LOTTO – successfully used the Legia basketball marketing platform. Filling the match breaks, the fans had the opportunity to participate in attractions and competitions with prizes prepared by LOTTO. The Strategic Sponsor, while deciding to continue cooperation, also decided to expand its exposure during matches, noting the increased interest, viewership and finally the effectiveness of these forms of promoting their brand. In the upcoming competitions, the LOTTO logo will appear on the most important advertising media, including the front of the match shirt and the circle, which is the central spot of the playfield floor.
Totalizator Sportowy – the owner of the LOTTO brand – has been undertaking activities for many years to support the development of Polish basketball. Legia made great sporting progress last season by reaching the playoffs of the basketball premiership and the Polish Cup quarter-finals. The cooperation is inaugurated by an unusual film promoting the upcoming Legia basketball season on the Energa Basket League floors and in European cups, which announces a new stage of cooperation between Legia and LOTTO. Legia’s basketball players and their coaches present themselves on the stage. It is also a predictor of many attractions that basketball fans in Warsaw can expect.
Cooperation with Totalizator Sportowy, the owner of the LOTTO brand, was excellent last season.
