The state monopolist enters the game with the salons of one-armed bandits. From the end of June, Totalizator Sportowy, which after the amendment to the Gambling Act, has been a monopoly in the organization of slot machine games with low prizes, opens test game rooms in some Polish cities.
This week one of the model salons appeared in the building at ul. Kijowska in Warsaw, where the offices of this state-owned company are located (and the editors of “Puls Biznesu”).
Another games room was opened to players in Krzeszowice near Krakow on Tadeusz Kościuszko Street. The next ones will be available soon to the players, it will be a matter of a short time.
Last week, another games room in Bygdoszcza was also put into operation.
As part of the pilot program, the company intends to set up around 1.2 thousand machines in 50 places in the country. Next year, about 250 salons may be created, and the law allows for a maximum of 38 thousand slot machines operating in the country.
We will inform you about opening new arcade gaming halls as they become available.
