Russian gambling zone “Krasnaya Polyana” in the Krasnodar Territory was visited by 570,547 people in 2018. This was reported in the press service of the Department of Property Relations of the Krasnodar Territory.
“In December 2018, the Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone, located on the territory of the municipal formation of the resort city of Sochi of the Krasnodar Territory, was visited by 51,483 people ( Casino Sochi – 41,952 people, Casino Boomerang – 2,111 people, the slot machine slot hall “Bonus Slots” – 7,420 people). The total number of visitors to gambling establishments in 2018 was 570,547 people, of which: Sochi Casino — 499,424; Bumerang Casino — 2,111; Bonus Slots slot machine hall — 69,012.”
The number of jobs created on the territory by gambling operators is more than 1.5 thousand. The amount of tax paid by gambling business to the budget of the Krasnodar Territory for 2018 amounted to 291 million rubles.
It is worth noting that Krasnaya Polyana remains the only gambling zone in Krasnodar Territory after the closure of Azov-City. It was reported that 483 thousand people visited Azov City in 2018.
This week Russian mass media has also reported that Royal Time Group LLC, a former operator of the Azov-City gambling zone, filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan to declare its company bankrupt. The reason was the debt of 1.5 billion rubles.
Another operator of “Azov-City”, CJSC “Shambhala”, sues the administration of the Krasnodar Territory. The operator demanded payment of compensation in the amount of more than 3 billion rubles.
