Ukraine to cut taxes on gambling in April

Bill № 2713-d provides for a reduction in tax rates for gambling and lottery operators. MPs could vote for the relevant document in early March, but due to lockdown, the first plenary session will take place no earlier than on April 13.

The bill provides for:
– Setting the GGR tax of 10%.
– Reduction of the tax rate for bookmakers and casinos from 18% to 10% of income.
– No taxation of winnings up to 50 thousand hryvnias by individuals.
– 90% of the income from lotteries will be received by a private operator, and only 10%  by the state.

Bill 2713-d reduces the cost of licenses three times (removes the triple fee applied before the online monitoring system comes into force).
