Ukraine – Two Ukrainian lottery operators were removed from sanctions list

Two of the lottery operators – MSL and Patriot – disappeared from the updated list of sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. It is reported by Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the updated list of sanctions, published on the website of the Presidential Administration.

Sanctions on these lottery operators were imposed due to their connections to Russian businessmen and the possible financing of the Russian army.

According to the journalistic investigation of the TV show “Our Money with Denis Biggus”, before the imposition of sanctions, MSL Company was the largest operator of lotteries in Ukraine, while the current leader – the company “UNL”, which is associated with MPs from the BPP political party – was the smallest

Also, journalists say that at the moment, “MSL” is associated with two deputies – Vitaliy Khomutinnik and Sergei Pashynsky. “The market is talking about their (MPs’) involvement in solving the sanction problems of the company. Both members of the parliament denied this information “, – reporters report in the investigation.

Turnovers of the largest lottery operators in 2017 amounted to about 1.3 billion hryvnia.
