For more than a week, Roman Romanovsky, a Ukrainian, has not been appearing in online tournaments. And if at first RomeoPro’s statement that he was calling time on his career was widely perceived with disbelief, now we can definitely say that Romanovsky has really left big poker.
It is interesting that Roman won his first prize online exactly 10 years ago – in the fall of 2009. Since then, the Ukrainian managed to become one of the most successful online poker players in the world. This year, he even led for several weeks the list of top players according to PocketFives. In total, according to various estimates for his career, Roma earned online from 10 to 12 million dollars! And the biggest prize in one tournament for him was $ 422,000, which he received in the SCOOP high roller tournament last May.
Despite the fact that a Ukrainian rarely played in “live” tournaments (the last time six years ago), his total winning offline is $ 430,000, and by this indicator he takes 24th place among all Ukrainian poker players.
