7 illegal gambling machines were detained by officers of the National Tax Administration from Łomża as a result of recent actions aimed at combating the gambling shadow economy. The devices operated in two premises located in Zambrów.
Officers of the Custom-Fiscal Service from Łomża inspected 2 premises in Zambrów, suspected of having illegal gambling. Suspicious uniforms proved to be accurate.
After entering the rooms equipped with m.in. in the monitoring used to select clients, officers secured a total of 7 illegally operating gambling machines.
The organizers of the procedure face high fines and even imprisonment. In addition to criminal sanctions in accordance with the regulations in force from April 1, 2017, people organizing this type of illegal game must face a fine of PLN100,000 from each machine.
