Hungary - Scientific Games secures full upgrade for Szerencsejáték Zrt Hungary

Nasdaq-listed industry technology provider, Scientific Games Corporation (SGC) has expanded its existing relationship with Hungary state-owned gambling operator Szerencsejáték Zrt, upgrading its full services portfolio.

A client of SGC since 1997, Szerencsejáték Zrt will upgrade its gambling systems to a new omni-channel framework servicing its digital verticals and active 5,000 retail betting points.

The upgrade sees Szerencsejáték Zrt further install a new SG Digital sports betting platform, enhancing its consumer mobile and in-play wagering offering.

“Since migrating our online sports betting platform to a Scientific Games solution, we now have one company providing advanced gaming technology that supports our entire gaming portfolio,” said David Csillag, CIO for Szerencsejáték Zrt.

“The new technology accelerates the implementation of our IT strategy, drives efficient operations and lower maintenance costs, and creates a seamless gaming experience for our players.”

At retail level, SGC has moved to install new games content including its inventory of draw-based lottery and sports games, boosting Szerencsejáték Zrt distribution channel.
