Poker players from Eastern Europe keep on winning international tournaments

Famous Russian poker player Timofey Kuznetsov became the winner of the final tournament of the Triton Poker Series Super High Roller 2019 in South Korea. 37 people took part in a special event with a $127 thousand buy-in. The prize fund was divided between four players. Timofey Kuznetsov’s winnings exceeded $ 1.8 million. Another Russian Furkat Rakhimov was also among the winners. He took 4th place and earned over half a million dollars.

The highrollers Triton Poker series took place from March 2 to March 9, 2019 on the South Korean island of Jeju.

One more player form Eastern Europe has won a major poker tournament. A native Ukrainian, who is now an American has become the winner of the Main Event WSOP Circuit Hammond in 2019. Elik Vodovoz managed to win about 300 thousand dollars. In addition, Vodovoz also plans to take part in another WSOP series, which will be held in Las Vegas in the summer of 2019.
