Poker player from Belarus wins almost $1 million

A professional poker player from Belarus, who plays under username OMGitshunt, has won the second place at the NLHE Main Event. The online tournament was organized by PokerStars as part of the 2018 SCOOP Championship. 662 players took part in the competition.

This poker tournament with an entrance fee of $ 10,300 resulted in Austrian player Tankanza and Belarusian OMGitshunt at the final table. Poker players decided to conclude a mutually beneficial deal, dividing the prize fund equally. The game continued with the title and $ 100 thousand at stake.

Tarakanza eventually has won the tournament. His winning was $ 1.03 million. OMGitshunt received $ 924 thousand.

According poker sites, nickname Tankanza belongs to Gianluca Speranza, an Austrian of Italian origin. OMGitshunt is a nickname used by Belarusian Igor Soyka, who is well known player in the poker community.
