According to the report of Summit Ascent, investor of the first and so far the only casino Tigre de Cristal in Primorye, the company received $ 60 million in 2017, which is 47% more than the previous year. The net profit of the company operating the casino was about $ 14 million. The report also indicates that Tigre de Cristal’s total revenues in 2016 were $ 38.5 million.
In addition, the growth was facilitated by the simplification of the visa regime, the increase in the number of flights to Vladivostok (the nearest city to the casino), as well as the completion of the construction of a highway that leads from the international airport to the gambling zone.
In April some media published news that one of operators of the Krasnodar gambling zone Azov-City (another gambling zone) plans to build a casino on the territory of the Primorye. The company plans to invest 8 billion rubles in the seaside project.
The plan project for the construction of a casino and a hotel on the territory of the gambling and entertainment zone “Primorye” has already been submitted to the authorities of the region and received approval.
The facility will include spa salons, shops, entertainment centers, restaurants, etc. Construction is scheduled to be completed within 2.5 years. It is planned that the casino will occupy the total area of 16 thousand square meters. Thus it will be the 2nd casino in Primorye gambling zone.
