Current gambling regulations
USTAWA z dnia 15 grudnia 2016 r. o zmianie ustawy o grach hazardowych oraz niektórych innych ustaw. (THE ACT dated 15 December 2016 amending the act on gambling games and certain other acts).
Main assumptions:
- Blocking bookmakers’ websites without a Polish license.
- Blocking websites of online casinos.
- An online casino with a state monopoly.
- Slot machines outside casinos covered by the State’s monopoly.
- It is forbidden to have gaming machines by unauthorized entities.
- It is forbidden to play poker in casinos except tournaments.
- Archiving of teleinformation data related to slot machine games for 5 years.
- The mechanism of age verification and the ability of players to control their activity.
- The Civil Society Development Support Fund financed by the proceeds from the gaming machines covered by the monopoly.
