Eastern European casino and online gambling operator Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) has announced that its supervisory board has appointed Corey Plummer as its new CEO. Plummer will replace Madis Jääger, who had been OEG’d CEO for the past seven years. Jääger will continue to serve as a senior adviser to the firm.
Plummer has more than 20 years of international gaming experience, including as founder and president of North Sea Gaming, and as a senior executive at Holland Casino, Caesars Entertainment Group, Rush Street Gaming and Aristocrat Technologies.
OEG also appointed Playtech veteran Omer Efraim. Efraim’s previous roles include as CTO of Skywind Group, an online gambling content and services provider, and running the casino live games division at Playtech. Existing chief operating officer Meelis Pielberg’s role has been expanded to include direct oversight of local country operations and business development.
All three management board members will be based at OEG’s headquarters in Tallinn.
OEG operates 115 casinos in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Italy and Malta. The company recently reported overall gaming revenue of €55.3m in the three months ending September 30. As reported earlier in August, Olympic Entertainment’s consolidated EBITDA for 6 months of 2018 amounted to EUR 21.7 million, a growth of 3.7% from EUR 20.9 million a year before.
